Royal Breastfeeding

I’m passionate about empowering families to achieve their individual feeding goals and ensuring they feel confident throughout their breastfeeding journey. As a Registered Nurse since 2009 and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of families to support them during their breastfeeding journey. With experience in labor and delivery, postpartum care, lactation support, and education, I’ve helped guide families through both in-person and virtual visits, as well as support groups. As a mother of three, each with their own unique breastfeeding journey, I deeply understand the challenges and joys of this experience. 

 

From the outset of my nursing career, I was drawn to the connection between mothers and their newborns. My journey began in the hospital Maternal Child Health care Unit, where I discovered my calling in supporting new parents through the tender process of breastfeeding. This passion only deepened with my own experiences as a mother, propelling me to pursue advanced training to become an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant.

Over the last fourteen years, I've been privileged to support mothers both immediately after birth and in outpatient care. It pains me to hear of mothers who felt unsupported in the past, which is why I'm committed to ensuring every family I work with has the knowledge, encouragement, and resources to succeed.
